Fitted with a brand new reconditioned engine before lockdown, all parts from ‘Just Kampers’ campervan specialist, also has brand new full body work and paint job by The London Bus Company Co. Nicknamed ‘Bilbo’ the original conversion was carried out by award winning campervan conversion specialists ‘Bilbos motorhomes’ in Godstone. I’ve had Bilbo for 3 & abit years and he’s been excellent. I’ve had a brand new 1.9cc petrol reconditioned engine fitted, I’ve bedded it in since with around 2000 miles on to warm it through, it had a full Coolant and oil pull through and clean out after lockdown and he runs fantastic. This van needs and loves to be driven, perfect for a van heritage collector, events/hire company or a very lucky enthusiast or just a happy camper! Since I had the van I’ve done around 29,000 miles all in all. Bilbo is clean and simple, theres no ‘tacky’ customisations or dodgy mods and cons. The outside of the van is perfect, it’s has had a full body work and respray revamp in the classic blue and white roof colour design. The roof is hard with no pop top, you can get him in any parking space or multi-storey. There is some small signs of wear and ‘dated’ness’ on the interior, mainly on the carpet and some cupboard edges/doors, due to the age of the conversion and because he’s been well used and loved, all quick and inexpensive fixes.Bilbo has a modest ‘day van’ interior that boast a large wall to wall double rock n rolla bed, a small kitchen unit that has a 2 ring gas hob, grill and sink with a water pump attachment. The unit can be taken out for extra room. The van has an electric hook up point, a mains multi plug socket, a strip light and radiator heater. Front passenger side swivel chair and a Panasonic radio/CD player. Bilbo is ready to be driven and enjoyed now, but is also good for a ‘fixer’ or ‘revamper’ who can put some further time into getting the interior mint again. All the hard parts been done!
