4. Posting Ads

You agree that all information in your ad is accurate, not misleading, and complies with all relevant laws, including but not limited to:
- UK (including England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland) – Sellers must comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (as amended), the Road Traffic Act 1988, any relevant DVLA requirements for vehicle sales, and (when in force) the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
- Republic of Ireland – Road Traffic Acts, Consumer Protection Act 2007, and National Car Test (NCT) requirements for vehicle sales
- Trade Sellers - If you are acting in the course of a business, you must clearly state this in your advertisement. Misrepresenting your status as a private seller is a breach of consumer protection laws in both the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Trade sellers must also comply with all applicable consumer legislation, including the obligation to provide accurate descriptions and respect the buyer’s statutory rights.
Prohibited Listings Include:
- Stolen vehicles
- Vehicles where you act solely as a middleman or broker without ownership or proper authorisation
- Unroadworthy vehicles not clearly marked as such
- Vehicles with outstanding finance without full disclosure
- Campervans with illegal modifications (e.g. unapproved LPG systems, unsafe electrical work)
- Advertisements using misleading photos (e.g. stock images, images from another listing)
5. Buying and Selling
- All transactions are strictly between buyers and sellers
- We do not provide payment processing services or facilitate transactions between users
- Buyers and sellers must exercise due diligence before engaging in transactions
- We are not responsible for any disputes, fraud, or damages arising from transactions
