Meet ‘Flo’. 1995 (M reg). Left hand drive. Westfalia Florida VW LT31 4 berth camper van. 187,000Kms (116k miles). MOT March 2022. 2.4l diesel (non-turbo) engine. 5 speed manual gearbox. Power steering. Recent new battery and two new rear tyres. Two sets of keys, alarm and immobilizer. Extremely reliable and runs very well. Just over 5m long (plus bike rack) so fits in a standard parking space.’L-shaped’ living area with separate wc / shower room (cassette toilet included). LPG system serving two ring hob, 3-way fridge, and hot water system (Truma boiler located in roof), all in working order. Fresh water tank under rear bench and external waste water tank.

Electric hook up and two leisure batteries. Rear view parking camera.Loads of storage. Night heater, double glazing and well insulated. Roof mounted solar panel provides top-up to both leisure and main batteries. Original roof rack and ladder with large fiamma roof box., Fiamma bike rack and wind-out awning in good condition. In our opinion, having previously owned a T25 Westfalia, and a T5 California, this is a perfect layout in a small van. The extra size, height, and additional row of seats means there is no faff in setting up, or the constant game of tetris trying to fit everything in. Not so good bits: Original radio / cassette player does not work, and the drivers electric window has stopped working.

There is no mixer tap on the bathroom sink, only a shower head and hose. Areas of lower bodywork will require some attention in the not-too-distant future – some surface rust and a few bubbles on seams, as you might expect on a VW of this age. Also a dent on the driver’s door edge, and superficial scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Very solid underneath, chassis comprehensively wax-oiled by the previous owner. Overall: Period conversion in very good condition. Bags of character, fun to drive and a perfect camping set up. Lots of history, including details of her registration in the UK (2007), original log book and workshop manuals. Please contact me for further information.
