VW T5 Campervan

Exactly 6 years to the date of purchase, EU06 NTM is for sale We are selling as we’ve gone bigger and just finished the conversion of a LWB Sprinter. The private plate shown in the photos is not for sale.

This little yellow house on wheels has provided us with lots of adventures, lots of race weekends and more smiles than I could count.

It’s an ex AA van with a 4 cylinder 1.9 TDI engine with 276k on the clock. I’ve enjoyed 65k miles with her and she’s never missed a beat. It’s just had a new MOT last week and had £510 worth of work including suspension arm and anti roll bar bushes – it has had everything it has wanted for in the 6 years we’ve owned it.

Cosmetically, the van is 20 years old. There are some small patches of rust, and the odd ding in the bodywork which I’m sure could be tidied up.

Inside, we have a L shaped corner sofa with a good amount of storage underneath. The sofa pulls out into a small double bed with comfortable cushions – we’ve never needed a mattress topper as is typical with the usual T5 rock and roll bed set up. The storage was a big plus for us, allowing us to stowe away everything needed for racing, or 10 days away without clogging up the main van body.

There is a further small double in the pop top which I had professionally installed approx 4 years ago – we can provide mattress for this at additional cost if needed.

The van has a hob and sink, gas bottle not provided. Additional storage is available in the kitchen units and the taller cupboard. There is no roller door on the tall cupboard as we found it didn’t function well and massively reduced storage space but I’m sure this could be replaced.

It also has a working solar panel and 12v sockets which work on solar / split charge from the engine. There is an inverter and I plug an extension lead in when needed for charging my laptop etc at race events

Will come with bike rack and screen wrap. Can include the sheet awning we use (wild earth) / pop top mattress at additional cost if desired.
