VW T4 SWB 1.9 TD 800 Special Transporter

First registered on 14/01/98 this van has a 1.9 litre turbo diesel engine fitted to a 5 speed manual gearbox. It comes with the original owners wallet and a comprehensive service history, Mot to April 2027, Recent Timing belt change and service.
The dashboard was upgraded to ‘Blue’ instrument clocks after the originals packed in, Kenwood Stereo CD/Radio, Front seats replaced with Saab leather items – the passenger seat swivels on a ‘captains chair’ base plate.
The rear of the van, which had previously been poorly converted to a camper has been completely stripped out and refurbished with custom made oak and birch ply units and fittings as follows:

Oak veneer ceiling fitted with Seitz mini Heki style skylight and additional VW 12v lights, Kitchenette unit fitted with 3 burner hob and grille, sink with electric water pump from 25litre under-sink tank, Electrolux 3 way fridge/freezer, cutlery/utensil drawers and cupboard.
The rear storage unit houses the leisure battery and gas bottle together with fuse boxes, switch panels and 240v, 12v and USB sockets plus additional storage behind sliding door unit.
The Rock and Roll ‘pull out’ bed incorporates large removeable storage drawers front and rear.
The 240v mains hook up socket is mounted on the side of the van and there is also a towbar with electrics fitted. The alloy wheels are 16″ 7 spoke VW items with a decent set of matching Falken tyres.

All of the above ended up taking rather longer than originally planned but one thing led to another, as is often the case and now I need to sell it to fund another project!
