A practical camper and race-weekend base that has taken our family across Europe several times. We built it around an active lifestyle: a comfortable living area up front and a genuinely useful garage at the rear. Reluctant sale because we need to upsize.

**The van**

2010 Volkswagen Crafter MWB with the reliable 2.5 TDI engine, showing approximately 149,000 miles. It has been regularly serviced and maintained. The engine has been remapped to approximately 165 bhp and drives very well.

The cab and seats are in excellent condition. Equipment includes a Kenwood unit with wireless Apple CarPlay, reversing camera with 7-inch display, Toyo Open Country tyres and professionally powder-coated black wheels.

**Sleeping and living**

**Bike garage and off-grid equipment**

The rear garage can carry a full-size motocross or enduro bike using a wheelbarrow wheel, or two full-size mountain bikes on the heavy-duty pull-out drawer system. It also has PIR LED lighting.

The electrical system includes a 230 W roof solar panel, 30 A MPPT solar controller, 30 A bidirectional DC–DC charger, mains hookup charger, Dometic 240 V inverter suitable for charging an e-bike, new 230 Ah AGM leisure batteries, and battery and solar monitors. There is propane gas with a quick-release connection for the hob or an outside cooker/BBQ, plus an awning rail for a drive-away awning. (Awning could be supplied separately)

**Condition**

Mechanically, it has been carefully maintained and used for long European trips. The bodywork is fair for its age rather than perfect. I recently reversed into a post and dented a rear door; this is reflected in the asking price and shown in the photos. I could discuss having it repaired as part of a deal.
