Peugeot boxer (X250) 2016 long wheel base, fully ULEZ and EU6 compliant so ready to go wherever you fancy without hesitation! It has 1997 cc engine, 6 gears and starts like a dream. Bodywork has some scuffs as it was previously a work van, however this does not affect its performance in any way – just adds to the ‘stealth’ factor. The van is fully off-grid and designed to be a stealth camper from the outside, with every luxury afforded within. It has a full kitchen along the bulkhead with a 3-way fridge (currently hooked up to be used with either 12v electrics or gas), Dometic 2-ring gas hob and sink combo and plenty of storage space. There is a 51 litre water tank in the baseboard with hidden 12v water pump to the side of the kitchen unit and fresh/waste water monitor. The tap is an extendable shower tap that swivels outside, so can be used to rinse off in the warmer months! The living space consists of 2 bench seats, one with storage space and the other hiding a Thetford PortaPotti toilet. There is a full height wardrobe with drawers and hanging facilities, and additional storage above the bulkhead. The table is a folding unit on the side of the bed, with a folding extendable leg for added support. Under the table is a little hatch for quick access to the boot space and gas canisters. The conversion has a raised fixed double bed at the back, so you can easily roll into bed after a long days drive without worrying about getting it set up! There is even a 12v TV with DVD function fitted for cosy evenings in.
The van has a diesel heater to keep things toasty through the colder months with a timer function and bluetooth connectivity. I have recently returned from a 2 month stay in the French alps and can guarantee a warm nights sleep! There is ample boot storage space, with built in ski storage and multiple hooks to secure all luggage.
The electrical set up runs off 3 leisure batteries in the boot space that are charged via 2 Victron 175W solar panels with a Victron smart solar controller and Victron inverter (phoenix 12\800). It also has a Cerbo-S GX device and bluetooth for smart control/monitoring of energy usage, as well as a Victron energy battery monitor for quickly checking of the battery health.
