Stunning Bespoke Off Grid LWB Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9 CDTI Campervan

Here is our much loved 2005 LWB Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9 Cdti campervan, no expense was spared on this conversion and it has literally everything you can think of, it was professionally converted by myself, I took great pride in this conversion and went above and beyond to ensure it was perfect for our adventures.

It is fully sound deafened and insulated.

It’s totally off grid with 2 x AGM leisure batteries, a large 295 watt solar panel on the roof and Victron MPPT solar controller which keeps the batteries fully charged with the fridge permanently on without needing to be on electric hook up.

There is also a Victron DC-DC charger that keeps the leisure batteries charged from the van’s alternator whilst driving and a Vitron 240v charger that charges the leisure batteries if you are connected to electric hook up.

There is a 2kw pure sine wave inverter that gives you a 240v plug socket without being on electric hook up (I mainly use that for my coffee machine), there is another 240v socket that is powered from electric hook up when you are connected.

It has a 12v 50L compressor fridge that runs from the leisure batteries, you can have it on permanently and the solar panel keeps the batteries fully charged at all times, when you connect to electric hook up the fridge then runs from the 240v hook up power.

There is a Dometic double hob and sink with cold running water mounted in the oak worktop of the kitchen unit which has plenty of drawers and cupboard space, the kitchen drawer and cupboard handles are made from copper as it the coat hook at the rear, there is a lovely wooded quirky mirror fixed to the wall along with some other quirky items that we purchased from some of our trips to Wales and Cornwall.

There are 2 bench seats to the rear with a removable table that fits between giving you a dining area, food preparation area whilst sitting down or somewhere to sit and eat or play cards etc, the bench seats then turn into a large and very comfortable bed.

There are fitted black out curtains on all windows plus black out cab divider curtains to separate the cab area.

There is an Autoterm diesel heater professionally fitted underneath the van in a stainless steel box, this is connected directly to the van’s diesel tank and has the comfort control unit inside the van to operate.

There are roof bars on the van that we used to carry our kayaks on too.

I honestly don’t think you will get a campervan that has had so much time, consideration and money spent on the conversion, all of the parts and materials used were of the best quality available.

The van itself is a 2005 LWB Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9 Cdti (the better engine), it is very reliable and economical and has covered 141k miles, it has recently been serviced along with new front tyres and MOT with no advisories, the cambelt kit and water pump were replaced at 131k miles and it had new brake discs and pads fitted all round at the same time.

As mentioned we have had many great trips to Wales and Cornwall without any issues, I would happily drive this anywhere.

The van is 21 years old so does have the odd bump and scrape but it’s still a presentable van, it’s red so is faded in places, with a good polish it always comes up really well but that hasn’t been done for a while.

I do also have a Vango Kela V air awning that has hardly been used, this can be included in the sale for the full asking price.
