Original Murvi Morello Mercedes Sprinter 310D Campervan in Great Condition

Original Murvi Morello converted from new back in 1997.

Super cool retro van in a great colour, always gets admiring looks and comments where ever it goes.

Very original and well kept van, very tidy bodywork, rock solid underneath, interior is smart, fresh and clean.

We have owned this wonderful van since August 2019 and have had great holidays and trips in it, We’ll be sad to see it go but at 61 years of age I now need something a little bigger with a fixed bed.

We picked the Morello due to its spacious and versatile interior layout and the fact that you can lounge on the sofa whilst looking out at the scenery through the sliding door, the space is airy, light and comfy whilst still being connected to the outside on windy or chilly days / evenings.

The Mercedes Sprinter base was another tick for us, lots of power and torque from the 2.9L turbo charged 5 cylinder engine which is probably the best diesel engine ever invented. The van is just coming up to 149000 miles but with proper maintenance these engines have been known to do a couple of million miles. It has a 5 speed manual gearbox and will average around 30 MPG on a run, it will cruise all day at 65 MPH but will go well over that if needed with no effort.

Blown air heating using the built in diesel heater or electric hook up. Heating timer and thermostat.
Hot and Cold running water. Water is heated up as you drive along also, so you arrive with a tank of hot water.
Sink, drainer, 4 burner hob, oven/grill, electric fridge, kitchen extractor fan, under cupboard lighting
Bathroom with electric flush cassette toilet, toilet air extractor and shower plus sink
Lots of built in cupboards, wardrobe, under sofa storage
4 speaker sound system via a Pioneer DAB radio with CD player and bluetooth connectivity / phone
Automatic split charging system plus a solar panel to charge the leisure battery.
External gas bbq point
Fiamma wind out awning and Fiamma bike rack
Inverter to give 240v power off the battery plus several USB charger points
Plenty of lighting
Cassette blinds / fly screens to the double glazed windows, roller blinds to the rear, insulated internal suction cup window covers to the front cab.
Reversing camera

Mechanically the van is spot on, 4 good tyres and a good spare, brake discs and pads are good, oil and filter change less then 3000 miles ago, brake fluid replaced 2024. Clutch is good and I suspect this was replaced just before we bought it. The vehicle drops no fluids and has never let us down.

Just passed it’s MOT with just a couple of small advisories.
