Vehicle Description

An easy driving 2014 white LWB Luton van. MOT until 19/01/2025. A rare full service history, before it was converted, it spent its life as a service vehicle for a bread company and was well looked after. No concerning damage to the exterior except for some minor scratches on the bumper and scuffs along the aluminium on the side of the box. 6 gears and UNDER 3500kg.

Citroen Relay specific air-suspension that improves the ride tremendously, the air-suspension still has 12 months warranty left. Newly fitted after market head lights. A new reversing camera allows for easy manoeuvrability on a van that has a great turning circle for its size. Newly fitted Apple/Android play radio. 4 winter tyres fitted with a normal spare.

Conversion Description

The conversion was completed in 2022 to an extremely high standard. Every consideration was taken to ensure that the van would be as light as possible without sacrificing safety, comfort and style. The van was built with the intent of being off-grid during ski holidays, the build plan was designed so that the van is suitably insulated, keeping the inhabitants warm in the winter but also cool in the summer with two MaxxFan deluxe. The walls, ceiling and floors are all insulated with 50mm Kingspan protected by plywood. The sky light offers great views at night and plenty of light during the day, it also big enough to allow easy access to the vans roof for inspection of the two Renogy 12v 200w flexible solar panels. To the rear of the van, the roller shutter is still in tip-top shape which when up, exposes a purposed built external wall with a B&Q bought back door, this door has a lock and window fitted. The rear of the van was built as a ‘garage area’, being 350mm deep it allows extra storage and comes with a ski rack and a 230v outside socket.

The conversion is open planned, it has a shower room that includes a shower cubicle with a hot and cold shower and space for its own toilet space with a fan for ventilation. The van being tall makes it spacious, you do not get that cramped feeling felt from other camper conversion. In total it has 3 x 12v usb socket points and 3 x 230v socket points located evenly throughout the van. A large area for clothes, shoes and other items is located next to the back door adjacent to the shower. Next to this is a pantry, it is the same hight as the van with multiple shelves installed, it is 600mm deep which allows plenty of room for storage. Located at the bottom of the pantry, you will find a metal LPG box, all gas has been deemed safe during the habitation check and the regulations were followed when installing the entire gas system.

There are two counter tops in the kitchen area – one for preparing food which is next to the pantry, situated underneath is a Dometic CRX 50 which uses barely any power even with the freezer function applied. Opposite is another counter space, fitted with a sink and a hot and cold tap with underneath storage. Next to that is a Thetford triplex 700 series cooker; easy meals can be prepared thanks to three hobs and an oven, and with the two fans the dreaded condensation and smell of food is minimal.

The lounge area is a L-shaped sofa with normal foam cut to size for its cushions, this folds out to be a large single bed. A large storage area can be found underneath where the dual powered Truma-combi boiler can be found. This is a great bit of kit, it heats water extremely quickly and keeps the van warm, even on the coldest winter nights in the French-Alps. The thermo-stat allows you to set it to specific temperatures and to turn on at specific times.

The Bed is positioned at the front of the van, it’s a large area with a normal sized double mattress but there is overhang on the sides and ends. There is a reading light and the sockets are positioned close by. The MaxxAir sky light is an added bonus, it makes a lovely view on a starry night and a lovely breeze during the summers. It has a fly mesh to stop all the annoying critters entering the van during the night and day.

Supplying the vans water is a 60 litre water tank and a Shurflo water pump and filter. This also feeds the Truma combo-boiler to heat the hot water. Under the van you have a 50 litre waste tank.

Also a 1200 watt Hyundai generator is being offered with the van.
