What have I done / spent!
2025
– full engine service
– differential service
– new thermostat
– gearbox service
– new wipers
– front & rear, left and right cills welded (not all necessary, but thought it prudent to make everything solid).
2026
– heavy duty anti roll bar links and bushes fitted
For the MOT (repeat emissions fail)
– new MAF sensor
– new lambda sensor (genuine)
– rebuilt throttle body
– new temp sensor (culprit of high emmissions)
I have spent a small fortune on this camper but she is now through with a fresh and genuine MOT.
This is my 2nd and by far the better Bongo! faithful all over the UK. However, I’ve decided to change for a Nissan Elgrand and could do with the space back now.
She drives great and cleans up fantastic, but the body has a couple of battle scars, so please don’t expect a new car!
