Ford Transit Custom Day Van – 2019 – Manual – 73,500 Miles – Wet Belt Done
Reluctant sale of my 2019 Ford Transit Custom, converted into a practical and versatile day van. Current mileage is 73,500 and will increase slightly as it’s still used daily.
I’ve owned the van since 2022 and it has been serviced every year during my ownership. The wet belt was replaced by Ford in 2024 with paperwork to prove it. The van runs great with no faults. It’s just had a new main battery and air filter fitted. Next service due May.
Finished in black and presented in good overall condition for its age and mileage.

Day Van Conversion (DIY)
Converted by myself to a good standard:
- Side and rear windows fitted (no leaks or issues)
- Fully sound deadened, insulated and carpeted
- Victron leisure battery charger and electrics by Rayne Automotive:
- 4x rear USB charging points
- Rear spot lights
- Roof ventilation fan
- Varta LED95 leisure battery included
- New vinyl floor recently fitted (not glued yet)
- Floor insulated and battened
- Two rear Tourneo seats installed using full 6mm spreader plates underneath with nyloc nuts
- Two single front seats allowing walk-through access to the rear
This setup makes it ideal as a day van, work van (rear seats removable), or an easy base for a full camper conversion with rock and roll bed and furniture.
Condition
Mechanically very good and drives as it should.
Cosmetically there are some age-related marks including minor scratches around door handles and a few stone chips on the bonnet.
Last MOT advisories:
- Front discs and pads (pads approx. 6mm remaining)
- Flickering LED within brake light (not noticeable to me)
- Handbrake noted for adjustment (works fine)
Reason for Sale
Only selling as I’ve bought a VW T4 project and now need a car for daily driving. I’m genuinely happy with the van.
