This is a bright, comfortable and remarkably spacious Ford Transit minibus with a bespoke, off-grid, 2-berth conversion. It was converted from a 17-seat minibus in 2021 and is registered with DVLA as a Minibus. It had a new Turbocharger assembly fitted by Vospers Ford dealers in Exeter in March 2024.
The vehicle has been regularly serviced and records of all service undertaken since we purchased it in 2022 are available. The current MOT expires at the end of April 2026.

The van’s features include 2x12V Power Points, 8-Way Adjustable Drivers Seat, ABS, Bluetooth, Cloth Upholstery, Ford Audio System with SYNC (ICE Pack 4), Glovebox with A4 File Storage, Hill Start Assist, Immobiliser, Power Side Step, Power Windows, Power-Assisted Steering, Remote Central Locking, Spare Wheel, Third Brake Light.

The van is ULEZ compliant & Crit’Air certified.

The van was professionally converted from a 17 seat L4H3 minibus in 2021 and makes full use of the vehicles length, space and light. It incorporates a full-sized internal shower cubicle which uses a Triton Instaflow5 1500w water heater and ventilation unit. The shower area can also accommodate a Portaloo for additional convenience. The kitchen area includes a Belfast sink with mixer tap dual lever swivel spout with UK standard fittings. Beside the sink is a large food preparation area with overhead extraction fan. There are convenient and adequate power sockets available to run the included induction hob if cooking indoors. It includes an Alpicool – 65L compressor 12v fridge with digital display and a 750w microwave oven.
The van has a large amount of under-counter and overhead storage and a pull-out table if eating inside. It has a comfortable bespoke seating area that takes full advantage of the vehicle’s windows and maximises the amount of available light.
It benefits from a built-in bed lift system that uses 4 linked DC12V linear actuators. This enables the bed to be raised above the seating area in the daytime providing the maximum amount of light, standing room and seating space inside the van, perfect for those days when we just want to sit comfortably inside and enjoy the view. At night, a single switch is used to lower the bed into place above the garage and seating area.
The van is equipped with a DVD player and small mounted TV screen as well as powerful and attractive Cambridge Audio speakers and built-in amplifier.
As well as housing the campervan’s bespoke electrical facilities and the fresh water tank, the garage area also features a large amount of additional storage space.

In 2023 we commissioned a full electrical rewire job to be undertaken on the van. This entailed a professionally certified electrical upgrade providing the capacity to run off grid using the van’s 2 roof-mounted solar panels or engine charge as well as 240v “shore power”.
