1985 Volkswagen VW T25/T3 new engine conversion 6 months MOT + Historic!

Extremely reluctant sale on my lovely T25/T3 VW!

Bought this camper 3 years ago with the intention of doing it up and going on little adventures, however it spent nearly 2 years in the garage to be completed to pass it’s MOT before i made it historic! But now we are completing the house and as such the camper sadly has to go as i haven’t had too much time to complete it!

Good bits!

1) HISTORIC no longer requires an MOT but I did put an mot on it about 5 months ago to ensure it’s all structurally perfect, they did a LOT of work on the camper including the underside welding! has 6 or so months remaining and hasn’t been driven since!

2) New roof fan all completed

3) historic status changed 4 months or so ago so no longer requires mot or tax! and insurance is £58 a year!

4) New engine conversion with around 68k miles on it, VW passat 1.9 the best engines for this conversion camper!

5) All electrics are completed all lights work, water and kitchen pumps all work fridge works with the little heating under too!

6) I have the rock and roll bed as well including a little toilet/seating wooden box!

7) 4 month old battery

8) FULL camper cover!

Things to improve:

1) The engine conversion was done by a small garage and the camper starts and drives however there is a wire that requires to be put into the engine to stop the oil pressure coming up as it makes a buzzing sound after 5-10 mins driving! nothing wrong with nay pressures it’s a wire but i have NO idea about anything mechanical! I just bought the camper send it to the garage to have all repairs completed and then i was going to complete the inside, which i did the roof fan and removed the old carpets etc.

Apart from that it’s all solid!
